Another school year has begun. Hopefully you are hearing the wonderful sounds of your young musicians practicing at home. Here are most of the concert dates for the Woods Bands this year. Please note that not all concerts apply to all band students. Please check carefully to see which concerts apply to your child or children. All concerts will be in the Woods Gymnasium, except for the Junior High Clinic, which will be in the NC Auditorium. The dress code for concerts is concert black, which is a white shirt, black pants, black socks, and black shoes. Please avoid t-shirts, sweatshirts, jeans, shorts, and tank tops. If your child cannot attend a concert in which he or she is performing, please let me know as soon as possible. If a student must miss a concert and lets me know ahead of time, he or she will do a required make-up assignment. Students need to report to the band room 15 minutes before the start of evening concerts. I will let you know the date of the Spring Concert as soon as it is finalized.
