Band Concerts

We are off to another great year! Here are all of the concert dates for the Woods Bands this year. Please note that not all concerts apply to all band students. Please check carefully to see which concerts apply to your child or children. All concerts will be in the Gymnasium, except for the tour. The dress code for concerts is concert black, which is a white shirt, black pants, black socks, and black shoes. Please avoid t-shirts, sweatshirts, jeans, shorts, and tank tops. If your child cannot attend a concert in which he or she is performing, please let me know as soon as possible. If a student must miss a concert and lets me know ahead of time, he or she will do a required make-up assignment. Students need to report to the band room 15 minutes before the start of evening concerts.

University of Wyoming Summer Music Camp information has arrived. Camp is open to all 6th - 12th grade students. Groups will include Advanced Wind Ensemble, Keyboard and Guitar, concert Band, Orchestra, Choir, and Jazz Band. Flyer will be posted outside the music room.

All City Orff rehearsals have begun for 5th grade students on Mon/Wed mornings 7:45 - 8:05. Sixth grade rehearsals are taking place within the regular class. 6th grade students are welcome at the 5th grade rehearsals also. Students currently signed up to participate are; Aleena, Hayden, Jordan, Keaton, Levi, Logan W., Michael, Shanel, Brennan S., Dara, Madison C. Nic, Quentin, Cameron and Logan E. Our final rehearsal and concert will be Saturday March 27th (9 - 12:30 and 4-5 pm).
