Know Your Primary Staff

This Week in Primary

Welcome to Primary!!!!  We have had a great first week of school.  This week we started learning about the rules and routines of our classroom.  We also started our first unit of study called “Water For Life.”  During this unit we will be studying different bodies of water and why water is important for life.  Keep watching this newsletter for important information concerning fieldtrips.

Important Information

Your child’s Friday Folder will come home every Friday.  Please review its contents, sign the folder and return the folder on Monday Morning.

P.E. is on Tuesdays and Thursdays this year.  Please be sure that your child has appropriate shoes for P.E. class.  If you wish, you may send an extra pair of P.E. shoes to put in your child’s cubby for the year.

Math homework will come home on Monday.  Your child has the entire week to complete the homework.  Please return Math homework by Friday morning.

Show and Tell will begin next Friday.  Sometimes we will have a theme for show and tell items and sometimes it will be free choice.  Please be sure that your child only brings one item and that the item is not highly valuable.  We also do not allow live pets to be brought for show and tell.
