This Week in PrimaryThis week we did a lot of testing. Your kids are probably ready for a long weekend break. All students who were here this week finished up the NWEA growth assessments. If your child was absent at all this week they will have an opportunity to make up tests early next week. We also took a spelling inventory test this week. If your child tested into a spelling group they should have a spelling list in their folder this week. Most youngers are not yet ready for spelling and do not have a list. This week was full of science as well. We did investigations with wood and discussed sinking and floating. We also did an experiment with Styrofoam vs. biodegradable packing peanuts. Important InformationThank you to all the parents who attended Back to School Night on Thursday. We went over a lot of information. If you were unable to attend, please read through the Primary General Information packet in your child’s folder. Please see us if you have questions. Thanks! This month will be full of events. Please see the upcoming events on the left side of this page. We still need drivers for the trip to Casper Mountain Rotary Falls on Wednesday, September 22nd. We will be taking our first bus trip to the Natrona County Public Library on Monday, September 20th. If your child has not sent a public library card to school they will need one by this day. Have a relaxing long weekend. We will see you on Tuesday. Nicole Roden and Deyonne Jackson nicole_roden@natronaschools.org and deyonne_jackson@natronaschools.org |
