This Week in Primary

On Tuesday, it was Dr. Seuss’ Birthday.  Many students dressed up as Dr. Seuss characters.  It was fun!   On Wednesday, we learned about bacteria and did a washing hands activity with Glow germs.

Thursday we had artist, Jim Kopp, come.  He taught us how to paint funny portraits.  It was a crazy, warm, fun week in Primary

Important Information

Thank you to all the parents who came in to sign up for a project presentation time.  If you have not yet signed up, Monday the 15th will be the last day for you to come in and choose a time, after that a presentation day and time will be assigned to your child.

There is no reading or spelling homework this week.  We want you to take the extra time over spring break to work on your projects.  We do want all students to read each day over break.  We sent home a READ 100 paper from the Natrona County Public Library.  We hope all our students can read 100 books at home before May 15th.

This is a 100th anniversary reading challenge for the Natrona County Library.  You can see the library website at www.natronacountylibrary.org for complete information and details.  In short, when you have read 100 books or chapters, return your paper to the Natrona County Public Library to be entered in their grand prize drawing.  If you make it to 50 you get a commemorative library card.  It is a great motivator to get all kids reading more at home, so HAPPY READING!!

We had many students who have fines or books out at the Public Library.  Please see the green “Important Note” papers in your Friday folder for notes about missing items or fines.

Have a wonderful spring break vacation! .
