    • ‘circle back’ to make sure concepts are understood
    • allow faster learners to move ahead
    • Need to provide ‘real world’ application examples
    • Bring in other math programs besides Investigations
    • Communicate with parents about what is being taught that week/month
    • Show there is mire than one way to learn/do something.

Parent Involvement/Responsibility

  • Set high expectations from the beginning

  • PTC involvement as a liaison between parents/pods (perhaps a parent representative from each pod on PTC board.
